St Johns Wine

St Johns Wine was established in 1997 with their first vineyards in the Blackwood Valley (50ha), followed in ’98 by the St Johns Brook Vineyard in Yelverton (30ha). A 1200t winery with temperature-controlled wine storage was built in '04. The wines are released under the St Johns Brook, Optimus, Tweed River, Round Puzzle and Crush labels. Although there is no cellar door, appointments can be made to taste the wines at the Rockingham office. -JAMES HALLIDAY
