50 wines for International Riesling Day

To celebrate International Riesling Day on March 13, we've put together a list of 50 rieslings from regions around the country.

There is so much to celebrate when it comes to riesling. It produces wines that are bright, lifted and aromatic and has been named Australia's best-value grape. It's also very versatile, and can be made in a range of styles from dry and off-dry, to sweet, late-picked and dessert/botrytis styles.

Key tasting characteristics can include flavours of lemon, lime and green apple, richer flavours of apricot, peach and pineapple, aged complexities of nuts, toast and honey, and sometimes notes of slate, blossoms and spice.

Below are 50 rieslings from Australian regions like the Adelaide Hills, Eden Valley, Clare Valley in South Australia, the Great Southern in Western Australia, the Canberra District and Orange, along with Queensland's Granite Belt, Tasmania, and Henty, Upper Goulburn, and the Grampians in Victoria.

Try something from this list this International Riesling Day, March 13.
