The Krondorf Road dress circle has a fine new tasting stop with the addition of the character- filled digs of Ollin Wines. Ollin Wines is the new venture for Tracy and Jaysen Collins. Jaysen you’ll know from his previous winery Massena which he established in 2000 plus his recent JC’s Own wines and he’s spent quite a few years travelling to California to do harvest at Forlorn Hope. Tracy, currently studying cognitive neuroscience and has appeared on two seasons of Masterchef, supplies the artwork and typography for the Ollin wine labels. Their wee tasting room is a wonderful place to taste and Jaysen is currently mentoring and working with his daughter Finella who is studying winemaking making it a family affair. The wine range is fantastic from the superb Chenin Blanc/Crouchen field blend through to soulful renditions of Shiraz and Grenache making for an exciting addition to the Barossa wine scene.
