Our Review
David O’Leary and Nick Walker together had more than 30 years’ winemaking experience with some of the biggest Australian wine groups when they took the plunge and established their own winery and label in ’00. Certified organic since ’13, Clare Valley vineyards focus on riesling, shiraz and cabernet sauvignon, while Adelaide Hills sites are planted to chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon, pinot noir, shiraz, sauvignon blanc and merlot. The 4th generation of Walker winemakers is now on board, with Nick’s son Jack working at the Leasingham winery. -JAMES HALLIDAY

Cellar Door
Information
The O’Leary Walker Cellar Door was completed and opened in 2010. The building is a blend of contemporary design and aesthetics combined with historical ironstone, natural woods and timbers. The Cellar Door is designed to be welcoming and provide our visitors with a relaxed, comfortable space in which to enjoy our wines, whilst taking in the sensational, seasonal and panoramic views of the Watervale Region of the Clare Valley.
We offer a full range of wines for tasting, selection of regional platters, fresh espresso coffee and cake. O’Leary Walker Wines is an ideal venue for a variety of events including corporate dinners, meetings, birthdays and weddings, catering for as few as 10 guests and up to 300 guests.
