Skillogalee

South Australia | Clare Valley

Our Review

David and Diana Palmer purchased Skillogalee in '89. In '02, they acquired neighbouring Waninga Vineyard with 30ha of 30yo vines, allowing an increase in production without any change in quality or style. David and Diana retired in '21, selling Skillogalee to the Clausen family. Talented winemaker Kerri Thompson (Wines by KT), who has long consulted to the Palmer family while making her own wines at Skillogalee, took over the winemaking from the '22 vintage. -JAMES HALLIDAY
