Organic Hill

Leon Hill’s family lineage stretches back to the founding of the colony of South Australia, with his ancestor John Hill having raised the flag with Governor Hindmarsh at proclamation in December 1836. Leon Hill’s circling back to those territorial roots came via a career forged mainly in Melbourne in the wine and spirits industries on the marketing side of things (he’s a University of Adelaide graduate). For health reasons, organics became a personal passion and later became the leitmotif of his McLaren Vale estate. The home vineyard is NASAA certified, and many of the wines are preservative free. -MARCUS ELLIS
