Cirami Estate

Cirami Estate is owned by the Riverland Vine Improvement Committee Inc., a sizeable non- profit organisation. It is named after Richard Cirami, who was a pioneer in clonal selection and variety assessment, and was on the RVIC committee for over 20 years. Richard was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 2003 for his services to the wine industry. The vineyard includes 40 varieties at 0.3ha or greater, and another 2ha planted to over 60 varieties, the latter Cirami Estate's collection of nursery plantings. -JAMES HALLIDAY
