Our Review
Established in 1980 by pilot Mike Tiller and his wife, Robyn, Isabel Estate (named after Mike's mother) is one of Marlborough's founding vineyards. Initially planted to chardonnay, pinot noir, sauvignon blanc and riesling, they later added the regional mainstay pinot gris to the vineyard's portfolio. Today, they are best known for their flagship Wild Barrique Chardonnay, which isn't shy about taking home an award or two in its best vintages.
