Our Review
Martin Cooper acquired what was then known as Emerald Hill Winery in '04. In ’05 he reshaped the vineyards – which now have plantings of chardonnay, tempranillo, shiraz, merlot, cabernet sauvignon, saperavi, verdelho and viognier – setting a course down the alternative variety road. There is a quite spectacular winery and cellar door facility, and self-contained cabins in the vineyard. -JAMES HALLIDAY
