Purple Hands Wines

South Australia | Barossa Valley

Our Review

The finely honed, contemporary Barossa wines of Purple Hands are borne out of a partnership between Mark Slade and winemaker Craig Stansborough. Their home estate, the Stansborough vineyard, lies in the far south of the Barossa Valley and is planted with shiraz, montepulciano and aglianico. They also source grenache from the Zerk vineyard and cabernet sauvignon from the Woodlands vineyard, near Lyndoch. The range includes pinot blanc, pinot gris and several red blends. Purple Hands captures the purity and elegance that is possible when the raw materials are in good hands. -DAVE BROOKES
