Schild Estate Wines

South Australia | Barossa Valley

Our Review

Ed Schild is a Barossa Valley grapegrower who first planted a small vineyard at Rowland Flat in 1952, steadily increasing his vineyard holdings over the next 50 years to their present level. The flagship wine is made from 170+yo shiraz vines on the Moorooroo Vineyard. In Apr ’23, the Schild brand and inventory was sold to CW Wines and the winery facility to Atlas Wines. Son Michael has taken over the grapegrowing side of the business, with Ed moving towards retirement. -HALLIDAY TEAM
