Our Review
The Brini family has been growing grapes in the Blewitt Springs area of McLaren Vale since 1953. In '00, John and Marcello Brini established Brini Estate Wines to vinify a portion of the grape production. Up to that time it had been sold to companies such as Penfolds, Rosemount Estate and d’Arenberg. The flagship Limited Release Shiraz is produced from dry-grown vines planted in 1947, the other wines from dry-grown vines planted in ’64. Exports to Vietnam. -JAMES HALLIDAY
