Our Review
Established in 1896 and has remained continuously in production in one way or another since that time, though with a number of changes of ownership and direction; The tiny estate planting is of 100-year-old muscat a petits grains, used in fortified wine production. My father used to buy Horndale Brandy 70 years ago, but it no longer appears on the extensive price list. Horndale also sells small amounts of bulk wine. -JAMES HALLIDAY
