John and Sue Carney have decided not to sell 572 Richmond Road, acknowledging they enjoyed the masochism of owning a vineyard and winery more than they realised. Highly skilled veteran viticulturist Fred Peacock looks after the 0.75ha of riesling and 0.37ha of chardonnay and pinot noir. -JAMES HALLIDAY
