Resolution Vineyard

A love of red Burgundy and fishing was sufficient for Charles Hewitt to establish the Resolution vineyard, planted to three clones of pinot noir on a north-facing slope overlooking the D’Entrecasteaux Channel, in 2003. Living in England, Charles and his Tasmanian wife Alison entrusted the property to Alison’s father Peter Brown. Tourists Daniel and Caroline Lamont happened upon the cellar door in 2011 and were so enamoured by it all that they decided to get married on the property a year later. With Resolution holding a special place in their hearts, they stayed in touch over the years and in 2017, Daniel and Caroline purchased the property from the Hewitts.
