Marco Lubiana

Marco Lubiana is inspired by planet Earth, the history of Burgundy and that of his winegrowing family. He discovered the great wines of France and Italy while working at East End Cellars. His 1st vintage at his parents' winery in ’18 was followed by an internship in the Côte d’Or during the ’19 vintage. He returned home to the Derwent River Valley in ’18 to make his 1st vintage in his parents’ winery. His sourcing is from a diverse array of clones exclusively in his parents’ biodynamic vineyards in the Derwent and Huon valleys, and his focus rests entirely on chardonnay and pinot noir as still wines, with barrel-fermented vintage sparkling in the pipeline. -TYSON STELZER
