Our Review
The first foray into winemaking for star viticulturist Tim Brown, De La Bêche comprises a trio of Burgundian wines grown on his 0.5ha high-density Taradale vineyard. The site was established in ’21 at a density of 15,000 vines p/ha, planted mostly to pinot noir with a little bit of chardonnay and aligoté, with the first vintage in ’24. As the remarkable response to the debut release in ’25 indicates, De La Bêche is one of the most exciting new additions to the Australian wine landscape, and a label to closely watch. -ANNA WEBSTER
