Our Review
Paramdeep Ghumman is, as far as I am aware, the only Indian-born winery proprietor in Australia. He and his wife purchased the Nazaaray vineyard property in 1991. An initial trial planting of 400 vines in ’96 was gradually expanded to the present level of 2.4ha of pinot noir, pinot gris, sauvignon blanc and shiraz. Notwithstanding the micro size of the estate, all the wines are made and bottled onsite. -JAMES HALLIDAY
