Our Review
Coombe Yarra Valley is one of the largest and oldest family estates in the region. Once home to world-famous opera singer Dame Nellie Melba, it continues to be owned and operated by her descendants, the Vestey family. Coombe’s wines come from 60ha of vineyards planted in '98 on the site of some of the original vineyards planted in the 1850s. The renovated motor house and stable block contain the cellar door, providore, gallery and restaurant. In '24, the vineyards were listed for sale. -JAMES HALLIDAY
