Our Review
Lindsay Corby operates Bianchet Winery, leasing the winery, and vineyard alongside operating the cellar door and producing wines under the Bianchet Vineyard and Cosmo Wines brands. Founder Lou Bianchet passed away without leaving sufficient records, meaning that the planning and liquor licensing approval was required to re-establish the property detail. Three years’ work resulted in the creation of a new business structure with all the necessary approvals in place. Lindsay brings an impressive CV, including cellar door sales, laboratory work and vineyard management, leading to teaching ‘The art and science of the vine and wine’ at La Trobe University and managing the small campus vineyard. -JAMES HALLIDAY
