Our Review
Gary and Rai Bettridge have planted chardonnay, shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, semillon, sauvignon blanc and viognier on their 75ha family property. The vineyard is situated in the Blackwood Valley between Balingup and Nannup, which the RAC describes as ‘the most scenic drive in the southwest of WA'. Part of the grape production is sold to other makers, the remainder vinified for Hillbille. Exports to Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and China. -JAMES HALLIDAY
