Our Review
Dr John and Sue Ward moved from Sydney to WA with the aim of establishing a vineyard and winery. They moved to the Geographe region, where they purchased a 51ha block of granite-strewn rocky hillside facing north and west, looking towards the Indian Ocean. They began planting vines in 2009, the lion's share to grenache (bushvines, managed biodynamically), five clones of tempranillo, 0.3ha verdejo and 0.1ha vermentino. Exports to the UK. -JAMES HALLIDAY
