Coughlan Estate (formerly Barton Jones) has 3ha of semillon, chenin blanc, shiraz and cabernet sauvignon from '78 - the vines are some of the oldest in the region. The vineyard and cellar door are on gentle north-facing slopes, with extensive views over the Donnybrook area. -JAMES HALLIDAY

Information
The Coughlan Estate cellar door is a special which showcases our vineyard’s wine, local produce, art , photography and demonstrates a commitment to sustainability through the straw-bale, solar powered and solar passive construction of the building. At the Cellar Door we can guide you through our selections of wines for tastings which are also available to purchase. The cellar door and café is open 11.00am and 4.00pm Thursday to Monday.
