Dream Bird

Established in ’15, Dream Bird is winemaker Kym Carr’s tribute to her late younger sister, Pip, known to the family as Birdie, who passed away from breast cancer in ’11. Using fruit sourced from thoughtful growers mostly in the Geographe and Margaret River regions, Kym draws on her experience from winemaking stints at Vasse Felix, Deep Woods, Juniper Estate and Naked Wines, as well as a vintage in Beaujolais and degrees in both horticulture and wine science, to craft a range of expressive, textural wines that speak of place as much as Pip’s enduring spirit. -ANNA WEBSTER
