Firetail

Western Australia | Margaret River

Our Review

Named for the Red-eared Firetail, a bird found only in the southwest corner of WA. Jessica Worrall and Rob Glass are fugitives from the oil and gas industry. In 2002 they purchased a historic vineyard in Margaret River that had been planted between 1979 and ’81 to sauvignon blanc, semillon and cabernet sauvignon; they have also planted chardonnay and malbec. -JAMES HALLIDAY
