Our Review
Silkwood Wines has been owned by the Bowman family since '04. The vineyard is patrolled by a large flock of guinea fowl, eliminating most insect pests and reducing the use of chemicals. In ’05 the adjoining vineyard was purchased, lifting the estate plantings to 25ha, which include shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, pinot noir, riesling and zinfandel. -JAMES HALLIDAY
