Sittella Wines

Western Australia | Swan Valley

Our Review

Simon and Maaike Berns acquired a 7ha block (with 5ha of vines) at Herne Hill, making the first wine in 1998 and opening a most attractive cellar door facility. They also own the Wildberry Estate Vineyard in Margaret River. Plantings in Margaret River have increased with new clones of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, P95 chardonnay and malbec. New clones of tempranillo and touriga nacional have also been added to the Swan Valley plantings. Consistent and significant wine show success has brought recognition for the wines. Exports to Japan. -JAMES HALLIDAY
