2016 Domaine Naturaliste Morus Cabernet Sauvignon
Award-winning winemaker Bruce Dukes says this wine shows cassis, violets and graphite notes, also with tell-tale Margaret River mulberry showing through, and silky, substantial tannins. With mulberry being part of the region’s cabernet DNA, Bruce named this wine after the genus of the mulberry tree. He also says you’ll wish you had another dozen stashed away.

2016 Fraser Gallop Parterre Cabernet Sauvignon
Winemaker Clive Otto is behind this wine, using a number of techniques in its production in order to bring out the complexity in this single vineyard cabernet. With vibrant red and blue fruit aromatics, the fleshy palate is complex and layered, showing a high degree of elegance and finesse.

2017 Howard Park A.S.W. Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz
This is the second release of this special wine, which honours owner Amy Burch’s parents. Think briary hedgerow fruits, mixed with rich plum and dark cherry, savoury herbs, exotic anise and pepper spice. Winemaker Janice McDonald has made this historic Australian blend from Leston Vineyard fruit in a rare combination for the region.

2017 Cullen Diana Madeline
Named after winemaker Vanya Cullen’s mother, who co-founded this pioneering winery, this benchmark cabernet blend has fantastic complexity and vibrancy. Layers of dark fruits, complemented by some herbal notes, create an elegant and poised palate. It’s silky, with blue and blackcurrant notes, and some cacao bitterness.
